Justification Through Faith.
Romans 3:23-31
23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood for the remissions of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26. To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29. Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also
30. Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumision through faith.
31. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Romans 1-8 sections is added, only done up to chapter 2 right now but will finish that this week along with a Chapter by Chapter collection!
hello you guys!! how are you? i didnt make nats. 😢
It is kind of hard to find the collection I'm looking for, so maybe create folders like bible bee 2023 then add sub folders to those folders that are like the folders you have now. Tell me if you are confused.
Romans 1-8 verse by verse added! The rest of the NBBC verses are coming soon!

Hi how's everyone doing today
@Emma Bible Bee is a Bible competition with very large money prizes. There are 3 age groups. It starts with a summer study. Then there is a test and the top 120 people from each age group go to the national bible bee competition. After studying a selected passage and memorizing many, many, many passages for the competition, they will go wherever the competition is, and they will compete. It is also very encouraging to see so many people hiding God's word in their hearts.
A Plea For Mercy
Psalm 6:1-10
1. O Lord, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
2. Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
3. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?
4. Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies sake.
5. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
6. I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
7. Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
8. Depart from me, all ye working of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping .
9. The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.
10. Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
well Emma I don’t do bible bee and I don’t know what it is would you please explain
As the Bible Bee qualifying test window is until Monday, please uphold the rules of the competition by not discussing any aspects of the test until Wednesday evening when the scores are announce. Great job to all participants for completing the local portion of this year’s study!
To the person with no name or picture, I’m deleting your comments. Please use this chat as it is intended. To encourage and build each other up in a Christ-like and a God-honoring way, and not discourage others or tear them down.

Thomas Sees Jesus
John 20:26-31
26. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, and believing.
28. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.
31. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name..
but why do you have to leave
I'm sorry I had to leave. 😔
The Lord's Good And Mercy Endureth For Ever
Psalm 118:1-9
1. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4. Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5. I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
6. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
7. The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
8. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
9. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
Praise And Bless The Lord
Psalm 113:1-9
1. Praise ye the Lord, Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
2. Bless be the name of the Lord from this time forth and for evermore.
3. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.
4. The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
5. Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,
6. Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in the heaven, and in the earth!
7. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
8. That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
9. He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.
In The Body Of Christ
1 Corinthians 12:27-31
27. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
30. Have all the gift of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31. But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
I think I'm actually going to leave. 😔 Sorry.

A Crown Of Glory And Honour
Hebrews 2:1-7
1. There we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2. For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
4. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
5. For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6. But one in certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the Son Of Man, that thou visitest him?
7. Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crowned him with glory and honour.

God Abundantly Pardons
Isaiah 54:1-7
1. Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travial with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord.
2. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
3. For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame.of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
5. For thy Maker is thy husband; the Lord of host is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

@Blythe M., I just saw your message about making the group public. It should already be public. if it were private, you would’ve only been able to get it by a personal link I send :). I’m not sure what’s wrong, it might be a glitch with the app or website. Hopefully it’s fixed soon!
Hi everyone! sorry for the delay in everything! I have had a busy past couple of weeks, but I am back to doing BB this week and will slowly roll out all verse collections that I am beginning to make, including CRs. Hope everyone’s studying is going well!
Mighty Weapons of Warfare
2 Corinthians 10:1-6
1. Now I Paul myself beech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent and behold toward you:
2. But I beech you, that I may not behold when I present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be hold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
3. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but might through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exhalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6. And having in readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
yesss happy fourth a little late 😂 lol
I'm bored. are you doing bible bee? if so what unit are you on? and how many verses have you memorized?
For those who do the BibleBee, there is a font called Sans Forgettica designed for memorizing things. You can download here https://www.1001fonts.com/sans-forgetica-font.html
I made a bookmarklet that will modify this website to use the font when clicked (though it resets if you reload).
To add the bookmarklet on Chrome after installing the font, right-click the bookmarks bar, click Add Page, change the Name to whatever you want, and enter this (without the backticks) in the URL field:
```
javascript:(function(){["spReference","divHint","divScriptureContainer"].map(id=>{document.getElementById(id).style.fontFamily="Sans Forgetica"})})()
Samson Pray To God For Strength
Judges 16:28-31
28. And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.
29. And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.
30. And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.
31. Then his brethern and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the buryingplace of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.
God's Righteousness
Psalm 72:1-8
1. Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
2. He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment.
3. The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
4. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
5. They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
6. He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.
7. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth
8. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the rivers unto the ends of the earth.
what’s the point of having a list of cross references to memorize without knowing which passage it matches to? And is it best to memorize the cross references? I thought we only needed to know the references for example genesis 1:1 is a cross reference to john 1:1
hi
the summer study is 46 verses for the Junior ed. the primary has a little less and the senior has more. I have never made it beyond the summer study so I don’t know how many more verses there are after that. I just know there are a lot more larger passages.
Or how does it work exactly*?
How exactly does the Bible bee go, someone mentioned memorizing a bunch of verses and maybe a prize reward for quoting them correctly.
I've got a question. So on average, how many verses do you guys memorize or whatever to go to the next level/nationals thing?
I didn’t know that you had to be logged in because my mom usually prints out the lists and this year mom asked me too
ok thanks. i have 5 siblings so we have me and two other sisters in.junior. and 2 in primary.
And you will only see lists of SS for your division on your dashboard, unless you have siblings in other age divisions.
The only verses that should be on your dashboard right now are the SS passages. You would have to be logged in to see it. CR lists come out near the end of June or beginning of July, and ER come out in July. FR are not until after the qualifying test.
also is there a online list of some sort of all the nbb verses (SS FR ER CR) if so where can I access that? I can’t find it on the nbb site.
if you don’t want to join it’s fine
Emma f. do you want to join Bible bee 2023 believe? it’s the one with the pic. of the blue t shirt for this year. if you don’t want to join
But it used to be way more active. Not as many people use this app/website as much as they used to.
And this group is normally one of the most active Bible Bee groups on here. The summer study hasn’t officially started so more people will probably be on here in the next month or so.
Haha, you can use Emma F. when you are referring to me, if that helps.
Yes I am, this is my last year! I am aging out of the competition.
I was asking the other Emma if she was doing Bible bee this year.
and also Emma, you are doing Bible bee correct?
is this going to be an active group?
yes, Emma is very trustworthy. I understand the reason why she can’t be admin. I just wanted to reply to the previous message.
Let me know if you find the button and if that works for you.
There is actually a way for you to change that! If you click on a collection in the group to add to your verses, you can click to select another version. It should give you the option to switch to NKJV. I normally memorize in ESV, but I have used other versions before, too, and when I am in other groups, I like to change it on my own :)
please go to bible memory newspaper the new newspaper has been posted
I just like adding my own verse sometimes in my own version such as nkjv but that’s okay
Is everyone excited for Bible Bee???
I did not, but I have been in this group since it started years ago, and have done most of the updating and verse adding. The one who started this group isn't active much, so I took on some of the responsibilities of leading the group. We are the only admins. If you need some verses added I am more than happy to do that for you, but otherwise there isn't anything other than adding verses that an admin would need to do, and that will be finished by me tomorrow. The group shouldn't need any editing or anything, so it is not needing another admin. It isn't matter of trustworthiness. Thank you though!
did you make this group so cool 😎 but you can ask Lexi she made me admin in her groups I promise I am trustworthy
Sorry Emma, I won’t be giving administrative abilities out to those who don’t already have it. But if you have any questions or want certain verses added, feel free to ask me!
in this group or my Bible bee one?
everyone join Bible Bee 2023 Believe. It currently has Junior verses for 2023 Summer study. I will add cross ref. and some of the other verses as they become available to me
For those of you who are seniors, I also have a group called 2023 Bible Bee Seniors that is updated
Yes! I just added the Senior Passages, and the rest are coming soon! Also, John 1-6 verse by verse and chapter by chapter are added. Once CFs are compiled they will be added as well.
Is this group an active Bible Bee group? Will the 2023 SS MPs be added to this group?
Plans For Hope And Future
Jeremiah 29:11-15
11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end.
12. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
14. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
15. Because ye have said, The Lord hath raised us up prophets in Babylon;
Be Kind And Compassionate To One Another
Ephesians 4:29-32
29. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with malice:
32. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Psalms 51:1-10
1. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2. Wash me thoughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Give Thanks To God For It Is His Will
1 Thessalonians 5:18-24
18. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19. Quench he not the Spirit.
20. Despise not prophesyings.
21. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22. Abstain from appearance of evil
23. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it
God's Is Faithful To Forgive Us For Our Sins
1 John 1:5-10
5. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declared unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
6. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sins.
8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
The Lord is My Shepherd
Psalm 23:1-6
1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2. He maketh me lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Resurrection Of The Dead
1 Corinthians 15:12-22
12. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you there is no resurrection of the dead?
13. But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so that the dead rise not.
16. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17. And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.
Defending Your Faith
1 Peter 3:8-
8. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethern, be pitiful, be courteous:
9. Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrarwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing
10. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
11. Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensure it.
12. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
13. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14. But and if ye suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that askest you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16. Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
Saved By Gods Grace
Ephesians 2:3-10
3. Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6. And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus;
7. That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Jesus Christ.
8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Rest For Your Soul
Matthew 11:28-30
28. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. you
When Thomas Believes In The True Son Of God
John 20:26-31
26. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless but believing.
28. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing might have life through his name.
Keeping Yourself In God's Love
Jude 1:20-21
20. But ye, beloved people, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
A New Creature In Christ
2 Corinthians 5:1-9
1. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up in life.
5. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given us the earnest of the Spirit.
6.Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we absent from the Lord:
7. (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9.Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
Trust In The Lord Shall Be Safe
Proverbs 29:25
25. The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.
When Trying Of The Faith Worketh Patience
James 1:2-6
2. My brethern, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4. But let patience have her perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be given him.
6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a waver of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Christ Has Begotten US Again
1 Peter 1:3-5
3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
4. To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.
5. Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time
Be Of Good Courage
Psalm 27:11-12
11. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
12. Wait on the Lord be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Your Hearts And Minds In Jesus Christ
Philippians 4:4-7
4. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
5. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6. Be careful for nothing: but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.
7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus
Jesus Heals A Man With The Palsy
Matthew 9:2-7
2. And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
3. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
5. For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
6. But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7. But when the multitude saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
We Should Love Everyone
Matthew 5:38-45
38. Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39. But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.
41. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43.Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.
44. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Putting On The Word Of Faith
Colossians 3:13-17
13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
15. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Example That Christ Is The True Son Of GodJohn 11:38-44
38. Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41. Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42. And I knew that thou heardest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice Lazarus,come forth.
44. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him let him go.
He Want Let Us Go
John 10:22-30
22. And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
23. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
24. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed me not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26. But ye believed not, because ye are not my sheep, as I said unto you.
27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30. I and my Father are one.
Standfast In The Faith
1 Corinthians 16:13-14
13. Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14. Let all your things be done with charity.
Death Is Swallowed In Victory
Isaiah 25:8-9
8. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
Hope in God
Psalm 43:1-5
1. Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitiful and unjust man.
2. For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3. O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
4. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
5. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Teaching of the Grace of God
Titus 3:1-8
1. Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2. To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3. For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Jesus Challenges Peter
John 21:15-19
15. So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He said unto him, Yea Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
18. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedest thyself, and walkest whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt strech forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
19. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
God Rescued Me From My Despair
Psalms 18:16-20
16. He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
17. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18. They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay.
19. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
20. The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
Love Leads To Love
1 John 4:7-11
7. Beloved let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Turning Together To God
Colossians 3:8-14
8.But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blastphem, filthy communication out of your mouth.
9. Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10. And have put on the new man , which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
11. Where there is neither Greek nor Jew circumcision nor uncircumision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all and in all.
12. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness longsuffering;
13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Cure For Anxiety Philippians 4:4-9
4. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
5. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.
7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8. Finally, brethern, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Hi everyone! I can’t believe it’s almost November! Since the Nationals test is tomorrow, keep in mind that we cannot say anything about the test until AFTER the competition.
@Reed They are added now :)
How soon do you think the Junior FRs will be out?
Senior FRs added as well!
I will add a collection with the entire chapter passages later this week.
Yes, Isaiah 40-48 verse by verse is added!
Are you planning tonadd Isaiah 40-48 as well?
@Madison. SS stands for the Summer Study passages. ER is the Early Release Passages. @Everyone: I will be adding the FR verses (final release passages) soon!
Thank you for bringing that to my attention! I will fix it.
2022 Primary ER: one verse is wrong. It should be 1 Samuel 2:10 not 1 Samuel 1:10. I don't want anyone memorizing the wrong passage!
What does SS and ER stand for?
Sorry for the delay on ERs, they should be added by Monday afternoon.
And anyone is able to memorize and study Scripture. it takes some motivation and diligence but God has blessed everyone with that ability. you can do it!
That is ok, anything to do with the Bible, Bible Bee, or just chatting (just as long as it doesn’t get out of hand) is totally ok for this message wall!
Sorry if that’s off topic. You can delete that if it is.
I admire people who Participate in The Bible Bee. 👏
Thank you Emma!! They are KJV now 😊
@iy yi You can do it! One easy way to get a ahead is by doing the DJ on the weekend. That way you’ll end up getting finished at least a week ahead but you won’t be doing too much in one day :)
@Emerald, if you click to select a collection, you should be able to change the version it’s in. You may have accidentally clicked on ‘keep verses in original version’ or something like that. If you already added the collection to your verses, you can unselect them and redo it that way. Hope this makes sense! If this doesn’t help, there should be some tutorial videos on Biblememory.com
I want to be at least 1 wk ahead on the DJ
can you please add the senior verses in the KJV version?
I also went ahead and added Ruth in chapters in case any of you might find it helpful.
@Nathanael, I’m sorry about that, it should be fixed now! Let me know if there’s any other errors or issues!
Yes, they should be added now! So is a verse by verse set for Ruth.
can you add the Junior ss
Slouch, I deleted your comment. This message board is for encouragement, getting to know one another, and discussing God’s Word. Please do not say anything hurtful about any of our members.
FACT: The Bible is not a type of bee. Your welcome.
thanks Heaven! we are also working on Ruth and memorizing various passages relating to redemption. I hope my son and daughter can press through to the end this year. It’s a big commitment but I think it will be a blessing to them. (Christy is my daughter if you’ve ‘met’ her in the chat group.
Hello, Lisa!
Since many of us are thinking that the Summer Study will be about the book of Ruth, I plan to memorize Ruth. I also tend to memorize somewhat lengthy miscellaneous passages just to get my brain prepared. :)
hi Haven! we are! I’m curious if anyone has passages they plan to memorize in preparation for summer study journal release?
Hey everyone!! are y'all excited for the Bible Bee theme this year?
Good morning! The National Bible Bee test is today. Following the rule book, do not post anything about the test on here, even how you think you did, until November 20th :). For those of you taking the test today, may God give peace and discernment!
Yes, I have just added the FR passages for all divisions! Acts 12-28 coming soon!
Thanks @Emma! Are the final release passages going to be added soon?
For those who are studying for Nationals, the Final Release Passages and Acts 12-28 will be added soon!!
Hi! What division are you in, @Leighanna?
@Leighanna, My studying is going well, thanks for asking! How is your studying going?
how has everyone's studying been going?
@ Emma it's been going great!
The ER passages for all three divisions are now added!
Happy 4th of July everyone!
@Haven My studying is going well, how is you studying going?
how is the Bible Bee studying going for everyone?
in the 2021 Senior SS Passages there's a mistake in Acts 2 36-39 KJV
it says "the same Jesus"
it's supposed to be "that same Jesus"
I went to the one in Denton, TX in May :)
And there is no age limit or limit to the way you recite it! Here is the Scriptorium website if you want to look it over: https://scriptoriums.com
A scriptorium is an event where each family or person will choose a chapter or passage of the Bible to recite. You aren’t judged for mistakes, it’s just a fun event where everyone recites Scripture together! There are many Scriptoriums held throughout the US, the most recent one being in Ohio, one of the largest scriptorium events!
What is the Ohio scriptorium?
I am not, but I know many that are going. Are you?
Are any of you going to the Ohio scriptorium this week?
I think they used to call them that before 2015 now that I think about it. But anyways, @Timothy, that’s what the collection title refers too :)
I have always called them Summer Study Passages.
Maybe it’s just me, but I at least used to call the Summer Study, “Locals”.
@Timothy The local passages are the same as what we now call the Summer Study (SS) passages :)
I didn't know about Bible bee in 2019, so I don't know.
What does "local" in the Junior MP's for 2019 mean?
@Haven That is good to know, I wasn't sure if there would be one this year! Thanks for clarifying that !
@Charis i am not sure, my sister is on the Alumni Service Team, and she said hat they will be coming out later during the study.
Awesome! yes i have my discovery journal!
yes i have my discovery journal
Hi Emma! Is there a cross-reference list?
Today is the official start of the study!
did any of you get your DJ yet? [ Discovery Journal]
Whether or not you want to memorize the early release passages is up to you. Some like to get a head start, others like to focus on Locals and memorize them later. :)
I do memorize the SS passages, and highly recommend it, especially since it is a requirement to recite them if you are interested in qualifying for Nationals.
This year the early release passages come out on June 28th. For me personally, whether I memorize the study passage depends on the length. I haven’t decided yet if I’m memorizing Acts 1-11, but I think I might give it a try and see how far I get. If I don’t memorize the book I try to be as familiar as I can with what each verse says.
thanks Emma. When do early release passages come out? And do you personally try to memorize the study book as well as the SS verses?
Yes! ER stands for Early Release. The ER are passages for Nationals that are released early for people to get a head start :)
can someone please explain what ER stands for?
Hi everyone! the Junior and Primary passages are now added! Thanks to Clara R. for letting me use her collections!
@Timothy, Thanks for sharing!
Official Bible Memory Group for 2021: https://biblememory.com/Group/View/569233ea8a/
There is no group called "Good News Spreaders" If there is, it's unlisted.
Of course though, everyone should use discretion when clicking on unknown links posted in message walls. :)
Hi Janie C. I would love to join your group! It may be easier for others to find and join your group though if you post a link that is directly correlated to your group. To do this, simply copy your groups web address, and past it into the message wall! Thanks!
@Haven I LOVE Jonathan Park!!! It's absolutely amazing! I really like the New Adventures, the series when he's 16. :D
my sister is on the Bible bee alumni serves teem!
this is my third year in bible bee!
good thank you! is everyone here doing bible bee this year?
@Haven: Hi! I’m doing well, how are you?
@Kylo You cannot lose your salvation!!! The book of Hebrews was written to the Jews. Hebrews 10:26 was dealing with the Jews. Heres what Paul said in Galatians: Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16. You should learn about dispensationalism. It will clear up alot of problems and help you understand what is actually for us. Check out REAL Bible Believers on YouTube. He has really taught me alot.
Hello everyone! Hope y’all are doing well :). And welcome to all new members!!
How many VERSES has everyone done?
That’s good though! Keep it up!! :)
It's going well...except for that fact I've only done about 100 and the test is like....next week almost!
@Nadia, I wish I had done more ER as well :-/. The season is so short this year! I usually count by verses instead of passages. How are you doing with memorizing? I hope it’s going well!!
OKay........ Back to Bible Bee...
How many passages have y'all finished? (I wish I had done ER there is like no time left)
So your saying, you went one day without thinking one bad thought, saying something not nice, or acting wrong?
@kylo
So, you sin every day, so are you saying you are not saved?
.
"We" overcome the sin nature when we let the holy Spirit work on us (this is Sanctification) and as we draw close to the Lord, sin no longer has control over our lives.
How do you personally over come the sin nature?
.
I didn't say we can't lose our salvation, we can, but it is not a "Oh, you just told a lie, you aren't saved anymore" but a slow, long process of falling away and letting sin build up separating us from the Lord, resulting in us becoming blind and Satan coming in a tricking us to follow him and then, if you resent, you are no longer saved.
What I am confused at is, what is your definition of "overcoming sin"? Do you mean permanently defeat it so we never sin and are now perfect? Or do you mean, that we have overcome it, so it does not rule over our lives, but we still sin, but we are no longer slaves to sin.?
We were all children of the devil, but once we become born again, we are born again into God's family, and are now, Children of God. We will still sin, we do still sin, but sin is no longer in authority over our lives. We will still sin! Because all man has sinned and will sin. But we do not have to give it charge over our lives. If that makes any sense. :)
In short, overcoming the sin nature is not letting it control your life, and your actions. And we cannot do that, we let the Holy Spirit work in our lives, and surrender to him and cooperate with him.
.
.
But, this is a group for the National Bible Bee so maybe you could take this somewhere else???? I mean, so we're not clogging the message wall...
Reread Hebrews 10:26 and then tell me that we cannot lose our salvation again. One example of a person who lost theirs was Demas. In Philemon 1:24 Paul calls him a fellow worker. But in 2 Timothy 4:10, it talks about how he went the way of the world. It is true that we cannot live a sinless life on our own but with the power of Jesus we can overcome that sin nature. Adam and eve passed on sin to all humans we are all born sinners but once we are saved we overcome that through the cleaning power of Jesus Christ our Lord who convicts and cleanses of sin, teaches and guides, and gives us the fruit of the spirit. If we say that we can never overcome this sinful nature I feel like we are taking away from the power of Jesus. One thing I might add is the Bible speaks of those who sin being children of the devil (1 John 3:6-10) and I am a child of God who has overcome that.
@Kylo
Okay, I do not agree with that.
I do not believe that from one day to the next you can lose your salvation just because you sin once!
People have a sin nature, so we WILL sin. There is nothing WE can do about it. BUT once we are saved, the Holy Spirit lives inside us and works on our hearts (if we let him) and that is Sanctification . WE can not do ANYTHING WE can NOT Make ourselves stop sinning. But once we surrender our lives fully to the Lord, he works on us, and convicts us of our sin, convicts us to apologize when we wrong someone. Yes, sin separates us from the Lord. And when that wall of unconfessed sin get's so high, we become "desensitized" or "unsensitive" to the Still Small voice of the Holy Spirit telling us to repent, not to do this, not to sin. At that point we are no longer living for the Lord. Un-repented sin, "reserects" the old man, the sinful man. And then, we are looking and acting like we did when we were not saved, and we are now, living for the devil again. And an unbeliever. Now, of course, if we repent and ask the Lord to forgive us, then we can come back to him. That is an example of one extreme.
I do not believe that if we sin once we automatically lose our salvation, nor do I believe that it is possible to not sin, i.e be perfect. And I'd like to say this again: We can not live a sinless life on our own, we must let the Holy Spirit do his work of sanctification.
.
Romans 3: 23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us
Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Okay, so if we repent of our sins after we sin we’re still saved?
Yes, just to be clear if we sin after we are saved we lose our salvation because God can not stand sin and if we are doing it we are separated from him and unless we repent will not make it to heaven.
There is no Bible verse that says we all sin every day. Another question... are you saying that if you sin after you’re saved that makes you lose your salvation?
If anyone else wants to hop in and sate their opinion feel free!
If you continue to be held down by the bondage of sin then there is no difference between an unsaved and saved person except for a desire to please God, which is practically no difference at all. This can be a hindrance for people who are not Christians because they may think that Christians are the same as them, sinners. AS sin is any willful transgression against the known law of God, not mistakes we make just because we are human like forgetting where we put a set of keys. If God can give us victory every second, every minute, and every hour over sin than he can give us victory every day. You cannot have eternal salvation read Hebrews 10:26 we can lose our salvation if we sin. Sin separates us from God and if we continue to sin how will we ever get to heaven. We can overcome our sinful nature through the power of Jesus Christ's perfection. I may not be perfect but Jesus is. Finally, I have one question for you. Where is your Biblical proof to back up the saying we are all sinners?
my definition of sin is when we disobey God. The context of part of the verse I quoted says “all have sinned” so I was referring to sinning and falling short of the glory of God, I don’t believe that anyone can really pray ‘better’ than anyone, Jesus technically would have because He is God but we can’t live up to Jesus and I don’t think that not praying as well as Him is sinning.
Even though I pray, when Jesus was on Earth he prayed even better, because he is God. So when I pray I fall short of the glory of God. Because when Jesus prayed he was even better. So my question is what is your definition of sin?
@Kylo: I don't understand what you meant about prayer....
And I get what you're saying about sinning but I personally believe that we all sin and as Hebrews 10:26 says we should not sin willfully.
@Kylo
Sinning is disobeying God. Jesus told us to pray, and he would NEVER tell anyone to sin, therefore prayer is the farthest thing from sin. I don't think I understand what you are saying. Are you saying that it is possible NOT to sin? Like go through a day or week without sinning?
What is your definition of sin because when I pray I fall short of the glory of than Jesus prayed so am I sinning when I pray. I also believe that God knows the answer to everything and in his word lies the answer to this problem. Some scriptures that you can read are Hebrews 10:26, 1 John 3:6-10, 1 Corinthians 10:13, & Romans 6:12-14. Read all of these and understand where I am coming from.
@AuroraBeam Yep, I agree.
@Nadia A: That's a hard topic actually, very debatable. And I believe we all sin and fall short of the glory of God and we all constantly make mistakes.
@Kylo: I'm not saying Jesus couldn't make us not sin, I'm saying that God gave us free will and the nature of human beings is to sin. We constantly sin, can you think of a day you didnt do anything wrong? Didnt think of anything you shouldn't have thought of? I'm certain you can't! I think that John 8:11 is a command to all of us to sin no more, to do the best we can, to deny our own desires, because that is what God wants us to do. I believe that I'm always gonna sin and that's why I need Jesus, but I can't use that as an excuse to sin, I still need to to my best through the Holy Spirit. I also think that this is a subject that only God really knows the answer to so we could keep debating it but we probably aren't going to get anywhere...
@Kylo We don't have to keep on sinning I agree. I think everyone agrees with you there ;)
Even if I am not perfect I know that Jesus is and he can save us from our sins so that we can live in victory over it and completely give our life over to Jesus so that nothing can hold us back. If you say we have to keep on sinning you are discrediting the power of Jesus. Also, the woman had as many chances because God will always forgive, but if you can't actually sin any more than Jesus was just joking, probably just laughing up there in heaven because he set the bar so high we will never reach it.
@Kylo The Bible tells us not to sin but it also tells us that it’s impossible not to sin because we aren’t perfect and that’s why God sent His Son Jesus to save us! We do still sin and we still disobey God but he forgives us and gives us a second chance, and a third chance, and a fourth chance, etc. That’s what I think the passage is saying. Jesus was giving her a second chance. I’m certain she sinned again but He kept giving her more chances!
If you disagree with me then why did Jesus say, Go and sin no more." to the woman who committed adultery.
Yes Emma!! God has given us the gift of free will, and we can use that to glorify Him or to sin against Him. It's downright impossible to not sin. Only Jesus did that.
As in my first comment a few days ago I emphasized that we can CHOOSE not to sin :). God gives us free will. We can still make decisions to sin. It is pretty much impossible to be saved and still NOT sin. All have sinned (Romans 3:23) :)
@Jordan and @Tim, I definitely agree with y’all! Christ has saved us “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5)”. We are still sinners, even through Christ has taken away our sin, it doesn’t mean we are unable to sin. We still have a choice.
We all sin. We were born with a sinful nature. But we are DEFINITELY sinners. But God has saved us!! We still sin though, because God is working on us and it will take the rest of our lives.
I go to a Nazarene church, but my family does not necessarily agree with their entire doctrine.
Of course we can still triumph over sin, not contradicting that.
Well everyone is still a sinner. Read Romans 3:10 and 3:23. Christians still sin. The only one who does not constantly sin is God.
I am surprised to find someone that agrees with me! I am of the denomination of the Nazarenes what are you?
AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! AMMMEEENNN!!!!!!!!! @Kylo
We don't have to sin every day, there is no predestination, and once you are saved you can still lose your salvation.
@Kylo, Yes! We are not slaves to sin, and Jesus has taken away our sin and covered us with his righteousness and love. We can choose truth over sin each and every day :)
@Kylo Yes we are not sinners because Jesus took away our sin and the Father only sees his Son when he looks at Us.
Did you guys know that we don't have to sin every day and that we are not sinners? Also, we can live in victory over sin.
Hello everyone! I've just added the Senior Final Release passages to the group. AuroraBeam added the Primary and Junior FR as well. Sorry it took so long to get them up! Happy studying! :D
@Nadia A: Hello! How are you? that’s alright xD. It happens to me, too.
The Primary and Junior remaining passages have been added!
Nadia A: It happens to me all the time! If I reload the page or press post multiple times that happens, but you should be able to delete them if you want :D
What? I did not mean to post that more than once! Sorry! 😯😬😬😬
@AuroraBeam: Sorry I didn’t see this earlier! that would be great! You should be admin now :)
@Emma: I can add them sometime tomorrow if you make me an admin! :)
If there are any Juniors or Primaries on here that either has or would like to make an FR collection for your division, I can make you admin so that you can do so. That would be extremely helpful for me, and for the rest of the group, as I don’t have the Junior or Primary verses. Thanks! :)
@Emma Awesome! Thanks so much!
Hello everyone! For those who took the test, I hope it went well! :)
The new study passage for Nationals is John 16-21, so I've added it to the group! The new memory passages will be added as soon as possible!
thank you ☺️ u hope everyone makes it too!
I hope you make it to semi's :)
@Kloe: I so happy for you! Great job!!!
@Kloe Yay, good job!! I hope that you may be able to make to semi's! Cheering you on over here!
I passed the mini test Andrew verses I meant to say
I passed my test!!!yay 😃 I am just going to try my best and see what happens next. I hope to make it to Texas for the show, but we’ll see
If you would like to learn more about the Bible Bee, Alyssa, I would suggest going to biblebee.org. It starts each year at the beginning of June =)
To be able to take the Qualifying Test for Bible Bee, you have to take an 8 question quiz and recite two memory passages. You have to get at least 50% to pass. It’s important for those who want to make it to Nationals to pass Proclaim! Day first :)
@Kloe I hope your Proclaim! Day goes well today! And, I hope that you will be able to keep up with reviewing. I know it can be hard sometimes, but just continue to chug away at it!
@Kloe: That’s is great! I hope you make it.
@Clara R: my Proclaim day is today. so yes Friday,
Wait today is Thursday, lol i cant remember what today is.
@Emma: That's awesome! Self motivation (and motivation created by other 'Aspirants') is a huge help! One of the only things that really keep me going this year.... xD Oh wow! Congrats! :)
@Kunicorn300: I hope you pass the QT! Is your proclaim day this coming Friday?
@Noah: Lol. You sound like me on that one! Although today I have like 250 to review 🥴 ah well....
@kunicorn3000 Yes I did! I hope you pass the QT this year! =D
that’s great! did you pass the proclaim day? I have always passed mine, but I have never passed the test
@kunicorn3000 I’m sure you’ll do well with your proclaim day! I did mine today :)
@Clara My reviewing is going pretty well except for today xD. Like Noah my biggest motivator is my competitiveness xD. I like to make a goal to complete in a certain amount of time, for example, 50 verses in 15 minutes. It keeps me focused ;)
has everyone already there proclaim day? I’m doing mine tomorrow
I do really want to pass the test this year though
I like doing the book part... but when it comes to review I’m either in the mood to get it down, or I’m too lazy lol
Well Clara I'm like sorta competitive so usually I always can review...The will...xD
@Emma: Thx. :) I just finished. All done till tomorrow! :) How are you doing keeping up on review? That is the hardest part for me. XD
@Clara Good job on reviewing! I need to do the same xD
Yeah!!! Review is done for 1 whole hour!! XD
@AuroraBeam: Ouch! That makes my numbers feel small, although it will soon be at that if I don't take care of it quickly. XD
I have 78 verses/passages to review. :/ I'm kinda putting it off, but the numbers aren't getting any smaller XD
I have 64 verses to review
Funny you should mention it..... I have 380 verses to review xDDDD
how is everyone’s reviewing going?!?😁
You should go to this website biblebee.org it tells you all about it! It's really fun :)
so what do I do in this group?
Welcome Alyssa! I’m so glad you joined the group!
welcome @Alyssa! So glad you joined! 😁
@Kenna Crain: I was just saying of course I remember you
I think we all have problems 😉
@Atani Yoon: Weeeel, I might be put off that you said we had a problem but yeah. Welcome to the group!
@Atani Yoon: Do we have a problem? xD
that’s great! I really like those verses too!
@Kunicorn3000 Wow, this is your 4th year? How awesome! This is my first year participating and I am enjoying it thus far! My favorite verse is Genesis 45:7-11. I also really like Genesis 50:17-21.
@kunicorn3000: It varies only a little bit. My favorite verse this year is Isaiah 49:8-13.
has anyone in this group pasted the QT? if so do you have any tips?
Matthew 6:9-15 is my favorite verse this year
I’m in the junior edition so idk if it varies but what was everyone’s favorite verse this year?
@kunicorn3000 That’s great! I’ve really enjoyed this year’s study as well!
my study is going really good! This is my 4th year doing bible bee.I have really enjoyed it this year, and I feel really prepared.
@kunicorn3000 My studying is going pretty well! Countdown to the QT has already started in my mind. XD How about your studying?
@Emily Miller Hi! Welcome to the group!
@kunicorn3000, My studying is going well. :) How is your studying going?
how is everyone’s study this year going!?
I mean the time thing. #clarifying problems
@Grace, probably true. That's kinda weird though!
@Emma and @Grace, Me either! I don't think I will ever be able to say Bible Memory without thinking first. Lol!
Lol, @Grace, I never have and never will stop calling it ST no matter how hard I try. xD
@Clara, yeah, Central time must just be the standard for BibleMemory.com lol (I almost said ST *facepalm* I'm never gonna learn to call it anything else xD)
@Clara, Hmm, that’s interesting. I’m in central time so the times on here that show for you are right for me :). Maybe it has to do with that the admins are in Central time? But that’s shouldn’t matter...so idk. I hope it fixes itself for you and @Grace too =)
@Grace, Maybe cause we are both in Eastern time? Lol! I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one. :)
@Cross Man, Definitely for me too! I decided to not push for Nationals this year because of that, and also because I’m really busy this year. :)
@Emma, I am in Eastern time...Every time I post, it shows that I posted an hour earlier. It’s kinda weird! 🤷🏼♀️😂
@Cross man: Definitely! I was really shooting for nationals this year as I’ve never made it before, and I was really hoping to be able to meet new people and make friends and stuff, but when I heard the news I felt kinda discouraged. Now that it has been a few weeks though, I feel okay.
Hello everyone. I am curious if the news about Bible Bee only taking the top fifteen has affected anyone's motivation as it is mine? :(
@Nadia A: That’s great! Keep pressing on! :)
@Nadia A. Hello, and welcome to the group!
@Luke Z, Hi! Welcome to the group!
@Clara: I don’t know why. Sorry! Mine has always been correct.
@Clara, it has always done that for me, I have no idea why lol
@Clara, Hmm, I don’t know. Maybe it’s some sort of glitch with the system. It’s not like that for me. Are you in a different time zone? But time zones shouldn’t matter with the time you post...
@All, Is it just me, or is the clock on Scripture Typer off? When I post something, usually the time on the post is about an hour behind. I know that the time on my computer is correct...
@vasti xiadani. Sé un poco de español! Agrado! ¿Usted también está memorizando para la abeja de la Biblia?
@Heaven: Good job! Keep up the good work!
@Noah My memorizing is going very well! I only have three more passages left to memorize. Once I get those, then I will probably start working on the CR's and take a look at the ER's.
@AuroraBeam: It's going well! I just finished memorizing all my MPs, so now I have to start on the early release passages!
@Emma: Hi!
@Noah: My memorizing is doing pretty good... how about you?
@AurorBeam: Nice! I totally should have guessed...I even knew Reuben was the only Senior! And the tag....who could forget that? xD
@Noah: I've been on Scripture typer for a while... IDK how long.
@All: So how is memorizing going?
@AuroraBeam: Oh wow, hi Charis! xD Totally should’ve guessed who you were xD
@Vasti xiadani: Habla un poquito español. ¿Como estas?
@AuroraBeam:For real! I totally should have known who you are! Is this your first year on BibleMemory?
@Noah: 🤣 maybe if I just told you my name.....
@AuroraBeam: Ohhhhhh! Now I remember!
hola , alguien habla español ? bendiciones
@Noah: nope he’s in senior
@AuroraBeam: So it is not Reuben....
@Noah This will be my 3rd year as a Junior....
@AuroraBeam: Haha IRK!!! Are you a senior or junior this year?
@Noah so many to choose from....
@AuroraBeam: I figured it was! Now which one of the Browns....xD
@Noah oh, haha yeah them.... That would be my family
@AurorBeam: Do you know the Browns? xD
@Noah well, we’ve been at this host group for about 5 years......so I don’t know what else to tell you 😂
@AuroraBeam: I should totally know who you are!!!! I can't seem to remember though! Ughhhh! xD
@Noah I’m in junior. I was also running around playing tag?
@AuroraBeam: Hmmm...I feel like I should remember that! What division are you in?
@Noah well, you might remember me..... my older brother was the only senior last year
@AuroraBeam: That is so cool! I wonder if we know each other?
Yeah, I'm in y'alls too.... unless you changed in the past year 😆
@AuroraBeam: Yes we are! Are you in a host group?
@Noah are you and Emma in the same host group?
@AuroraBeam: Ohhhh! xD Definitely early!!
@Noah I think he’s being late to the New Year......
@MicahJustus I think that’s more of an early New Year than a late one.....🤣
Umm...am I missing something?
@AurorBeam: Welcome to the late club! xD
@Noah, I was considering saying something like that..... Happy late 4th of July!!
Happy late 4th of July guys! xD
Yes, Happy 4th of July!!!
Alright Primary ERs have been added!
@AuroraBeam Thanks! You should be able to add them now :)
@Emma
I’m making a primary collection for another group so I can add them 😁
Hello all! I hope you’re doing well! If anyone is able to make a Primary ER collection, let me know and I can make you admin so that you can add them to the group. I have access, but as I am out of town I wouldn’t be able to add them within the next few days. This would be so helpful—thanks so much in advance!
The Junior ER passages have been added now🙃
@AlternateIsAwesome: Hello! :)
@AuroraBeam You should be admin now :). Thanks so much!
@Emma if you would make me an admin I would be more than happy to add junior ERs 😁
The Senior ER Passages have been added!
@AuroraBeam Yes, as soon as possible. Senior ERs should be added today. I don’t have a list of the Junior ERs, but when I find one I’ll try to add it as soon as I can :). If anyone can make a collection of those, I can add them as admin so they can add it to the group. That would be super helpful. Primary ERs should be added within the next week or two.
@Emma are you planning on adding ER soon?
@Kruiz No, you don’t have to learn this groups verses if you don’t want to :). That’s awesome that you’re learning Psalms!
go join (Black Lives Matter 2020)
I'm learning Psalms bye for bible Quizzing (if you know what that is)
@Emma I'm in a different group learning verses,do I HAVE to learn the stuff in this group or no?
@KC Welcome to the group! Like AuroraBeam said, you don’t have to memorize the Strongs number. :) Unfortunately to give encouragement or prayer to a member, that feature is only on the website. Hopefully they’ll put it on the app someday!
@KC I just realized you said app..... going to go check and see if it’s the same as on the website😆
@KC no you don’t have to memorize the strongs number for the test and to give encouragement you click on someone’s name, then the encouragement wall, and type your encouragement 😁 glad you joined us!
finally an active group 😂
hello I'm new to the group!😁
@Noah They should be released next Monday :)
Hey can (or has) someone added the early release passages for Nats? (Correct me if they are not released yet!) xD
Thank you all who have more 1,000 successful attempts! Y'all have really motivated me to get to 1,000 on here! Thanks! :)
@Everyone I love seeing how some of your are being so encouraging to Emma! I agree; she is pretty awesome! Such a wonderful person. :)
@Emma It's great that you memorized all of the MP's! I am hoping to do that as well. Also, I just wanted to say how grateful I am that you are on here. You have been quite helpful, and I appreciate it! I hope that one day we may be able to meet. Possibly at the NBB? ;) Keep being you, beloved one!
Hi everyone! The Junior CRs and Primary CRs have been added to the group’s verses!
@Tim, 5 passages is great too! You’re almost halfway through and we’re only a couple weeks into the study! Nice job!
How did you do all those passages?!? I've only done 5!
@inactive I’ll take that as a compliment😆
@Noah Thanks! You’re doing great as well!
@Emma Congratulations on finishing! I am just over half way with Summer passages, still got a ways to go! I haven't studied CF's yet, but I memorized a good chunk of Genesis 37-50! :)
@Noah, I hope your studying is going well too!
@Emma, Thanks for adding everything so promptly! I'm glad your studying is going well!
@AuroraBeam, GJ! Keep up the good work :)
@AuroraBeam: Congrats on finishing the MPs! Good job! :D
@Noah: My memorizing has been going well. I finished memorizing the summer passages, also, so I’ve been focusing more on familiarizing myself with the CRs and Gen. 37-50 :) How has your studying been?
@AuroraBeam: That is great! Good job on memorizing all of the summer passages!
@Noah
Well, I’ve memorized all my MPs. Hopefully going to do some CRs....
Hi all! How is memorizing going? Hope yall are doing well!
@MicahJustus I noticed as well.
there is only one Kenna in the group
Hi, Kenna. Yes, Emma is great! She was one of my first new friends this season of BB, and I'm so glad I met you, Emma!
@Emma No you don't need to make it admin. I will not be able to give to devotion as you have! Thanks for all the work you have done!
@AuroraBeam: I was able to find the Junior CRs through Quizlet. I'll add them as soon as I can!
But meanwhile I’ll add the Primary CRs if anyone needs them :)
@AuroraBeam: As there are no Juniors in my family, I don’t have the list! If someone on here has a list, I can make them admin so they can add them. If not I would be happy to add them if I can get a hold of a list :)
@Emma
Do you mind adding the Junior CRS? Thanks!
@Noah: Currently I’m the only admin, but the group is technically yours since you started it xD. I took you off admin since you weren’t active for a couple years, but if you like I can make you admin again :)
Aww, thank you so much, guys! Y’all are so kind and encouraging, and I’m so thankful for you all. :)
Just curious, but who are the admins here?
@ Ellen T.: Thank you! I completely agree.
@ Emma: You do an amazing job with this group! I know it takes a lot of time to organize all the verses into all the different categories! Thank you so much. :) I and many others appreciate it a LOT! God bless you!
Emma thank you so much!!! you are incredible. ❤️❤️
@Kenna. please do not tear people down. you never know how much it can hurt. Speak life and positivity. God made everyone unique. and everyone is special in their own way. we should love each other and do good to them and pray for them.
@Kenna That is very rude to say and that is the farthest thing from the truth. Plz don't say things that tear people down.
@Kenna
Unnecessary and untrue please don’t say things like that.
I think they’re are a few others. Bible Bee 2020 SS/Nationals: Trust is the name of one. If you search Bible Bee 2020 or 2020 Bible Bee you should be able to find a few. :)
Thanks Emma! Long time no see! Is this the only group that has the 2020 verses? Or are there others?
Hey Noah, glad to see you on here!
Thank you all who posted the verses on here!
You can, but the summer study is meant for mon-fri.
@Clara I don’t think so...I’ve checked and I can’t find it! :)
Hey, just a question...Does anyone know if there is an Official Bible Bee group for 2020 yet? Thx! XD
Hi everyone! The Senior CRs have been added! Enjoy!
Awesome! I hope you enjoy doing Bible Bee!
Bible Bee is awesome! I hope all of you enjoy it :)
@Anonymous
I hope you do to!
hi I'm new here but I hope I will like it here
Welcome! I hope you really enjoy the BB!
Hi Everyone! :D This is my first year participating in BB! I mean I've known about it for several years but this is my first year actually doing it! :D This is a really neat Bible app! :D
@Ellen, Yes! They should hopefully be added by the end of the week :)
hey!! do you plan on adding the CRs for seniors this year?
No problem!! I also added the memory passages for all three divisions :) Let me know if you need anything else!
Oh, awesome! Thanks, Emma!
Hello everyone! I have added Genesis 37-50 (verse by verse) to this group's verses! Collections broken up into passages and chapters will be added, also. The memory passages will be added soon :)
I found out today that the study passage for this year will be Genesis 37-50! I am so excited that we will get to study the story of Joseph!
Hello everyone! Welcome to the group! =)
Hi guys! I'm a Junior and this is going to be my last year as one.
In senior. I’m not a senior, I’m a sophomore.
and i think hes in senior
Welcome, Micah and Noah!
What division are y’all in?
Hi everyone! This is my first time doing Bible Bee, and I’m really excited! I hope to make many friends and memorize many verses during this time.
Happy Easter everyone! He is Risen!!! :D
@Joy, You could add me by email, but I really don’t want to out my email on here for everyone to see, since anyone can view this group, if you know what I mean. I don’t know how then. Allison and I write letters, so maybe if you talk to her and let her know I can send her my email via letter. :)
Hey, Joy! This link does not work either. I saw that you mentioned that you could add us via email, but I do not have a gmail account.
@Joy: The link does not work for me either.
@Joy: Thanks! Unfortunately the link isn’t working for me :(
https://hangouts.google.com/group/BpB78WE3MjUwuyis6 Here is the personal study chat with Allison.
Heaven and Emma, I could make a group on both here and hangouts. I have an NIV group (hangouts) set up. But I can have a personal one (hangouts) for us and Allison
@Emma: I was thinking the same thing. Maybe some where in the Old Testament. :)
@Heaven: I really don’t know, since the theme Trust can be applied to so many things in the Bible! But it sounds a little more like an Old Testament theme :)
@Emma - I hadn't thought about what the study book could be. What do you think the study book will be?
I would love to study with you too, Joy! Are you going to create the group on Scripture Typer?
@Everyone: I added ST’s topical collection, Trust, to the group. I hope to be adding to it within the next few months :)
I also have google Hangouts
I’d love that, Joy! I know Allison :). Would this be a Scripture Typer group?
Emma and Heaven, I would love to study with you both! I am also probably studying with Allison D, so maybe we could put together a little study group?
Yay! What do you think the study book will be?
The time flies by quickly! I cannot believe that the day for registration has come! I am so excited to finally do the Summer Study and learn about Trust. <3
Hey! Please join The Legends: Defeat bosses it is the funniest and most active group ever! You get to defeat bosses by memorizing scripture and completing awesome bible challenges! And it is soooo active! It is the #1 best group ever!
I come before you Father God, in Jesus name, asking you to put your protective hedge of thorns around each and every BB participant. Lord, may you draw more of our youth to your Word and to this anointed group of people. May their study continue to be a witness to me, a man in my mid 50’s, asking, seeking, and knocking one more day...and may their meditation on your Word build up and unify your Kingdom here on earth. I pray all of this in Jesus name. Amen.
That is so awesome, Emma!! Thank you so much for the tips! I will keep them in mind. :) Thank you for prayers, too!
Hello Heaven! Welcome! I also use ESV and will be a Senior! I totally agree with what Joy said. I would say to really make sure that you know the things in the Discovery Journal (the “study guide” we go through in Summer) well, as over 50% of the qualifying test has been on it the past few years. :) Study Bibles are also really helpful. I like to keep a notebook and write down some important things I learn in it from a passage. It is also helpful to use them for finding important cross-references and such. It’s so great that you are competing! I’ll be praying for you!
Thank you for the tips, Joy! I will certainly try them. :) I would love to be study buddies with you! I utilize ESV and I will be in the Senior division.
Hi, Heaven. I competed last year. That's so awesome that you are interested!
My personal tips would be learned the SS (Summer Study) passages really well, as last year, they used the SS passages at National's Orals. Take some of the practice tests that some people make, and use your own study methods.
If you'd like an online "study buddy", I'd love to be your study buddy! I will be a senior in BB this year, and I use NIV.
Hello there!
This summer will be my first time going through the Summer Study and I'm certainly interested in taking the qualifying test. Does anyone have tips for preparation during this off season?
please join my group it's called memories 1 John it's not big but hopefully I'll get it there! thanks
yes!! I can't believe it! It came so fast!
Only 10 days until Nats!! Keep going everyone! =D
@Jesus Crew 2, I will look for it on the group page. Thanks. Oh, and could you guys join my group called Study for Him through 1 peter??? Thanks!! -Hannah Ballard
@Hannah I'm dong swell and you? I'm scripture Blondie cuzzzzz uh, good question. I'm blonde and like Gods word 😂
yea, that's ok. you too!!!
@ Hannah: Thank you :). I’m 14. This is my last year in the Junior division. I would rather not say my birth date on here, if you don’t mind, but thank you for asking :). Happy Studying!
yea, your profile says right now that you are emma ferdanez. :):):) LOL
HI Emma!!! when is your b-day???
Thanks. Your profile picture is pretty and you are pretty.
Please stop inviting me I have no idea how u did but I don’t really get on much or care
Oh, and I’m doing well Hannah :). How are you?
@Hannah: Sorry, I didn’t know your real name was Hannah. I was indeed talking to you, though ;) xD
How are you @Scripture Blondie??? And why is your profile name Scripture Blondie????
Because I didn't think you knew me. Thanks for forgiving me.
FORRRRGIIIIIVENNNN wait why are you sorry? 😂
Hey again everyone! I also wanted to let everyone know that the 2019 Contestant-made Nationals Practice Test is officially started! Contact Heidi Floyd on the BB participant community if you are interested in helping this year! She will give you instructions on how to format your questions and the process we will take in authoring and proofing them before we release them to the public.
Congrats to you too, @Scripture Blondie, and to all who also qualified, and even to those who didn’t! I added 1 Peter to the group’s verses, and I will add the Final Release Passages as soon as possible. :)
Congrats to all the National Qualifiers !
That's a good prayer. Ad yup, all glory to Him!
Amen, @ScriptureBlondie - started reading about BB on the website. Love the mission statement “To know God’s Word & to make Him known” is a mission that I pray with confidence will last generations. Love & admire Gods work through you all! 🙏✊
Hey there you go! It's totally worth it for the grandkids. I'm still wondering how long BB will be around. Hopefully forever!
can’t believe I’m so old @ScriptureBlondie ...that “I don’t have a kid under 18” - but grateful to pray for you all. Inspiring group! Maybe I’ll have a grandkid in BB someday 🙏🤷🏻♂️
@Christa, you're a Senior this year? My, time does fly!
yup, but I only remember you being a junior and now you're a senior and that means time is passing terribly quickly 😅
Wait aren't you a Senior?
*tears* Christa you're already a senior that makes me miss you even more !
Clanceman too bad you don't have a kid under 18 who could be in BB!
@Everyone: What is your favorite thing you learned from this year’s Summer Study? What are y’alls favorite passages?
@Hope: Hi! I loved this year’s Summer Study. I definitely learned a lot more about how to worship, and what it means to do so. ~Psalm 150:6
Hi, everyone! I hope you enjoyed the summer study. I did.
Hope
Thank you, @Christa ...God Bless you, @Emma and all of Bible Bee members - past and present! 🙏❤️✊
@Clanceman Praise the Lord! I will definitely pray. :)
@Emma, I was in the next season (2016).
My ❤️ continues to be filled with joy. As a 54 yr old father of 4...I am encouraged by BB. I never knew this existed. I was a lifelong lukewarm practicing Catholic until the last couple years. I have 3 girls & one boy ages 19-30. I’ve asked forgiveness for not being a father who led my family in Christ’s image & by His precious Word alone. I’ve studied the Bible for the last couple years, and joined a Bible Church. 2 of my daughters go on occasion & are just now being exposed to the Bible. You are all an inspiration to me. I continue to pray for you all. My only prayer request is that I draw closer to God, His Word & His will - discerned through it and my response to it. I ask that you all pray for this and that my wife & children accept & grow in Christ and become as drawn to his Word as you all are. I’m grateful for this app. I’m realizing how vital Bible memory is. Praise God & Bless you all! 🙏❤️
*Glad to have you....oh dear...typos xD
@Christa, Hello! 2014 was my first year making it to Nats, too! Which Game Show season were you on? I was on the 2014 Game Show as a Primary :). I hope I get to meet you next time. Glad you have you on the group! Happy Studying :D
@Christa, Hey! I remember you quite well ;) How neat that you've made it ever since 2014! That's when I first made it, and I've also made it ever since. No wonder we've seen each other every year xD
I might as well introduce myself for those of you who don't know me. I'm Christa M (duh xP), I'm a first year Senior, I've been doing BB since I was old enough, and I've made it to Nats since 2014. I also was on the BB Game Show. So um yeah... Hehe well, I'm excited to be on this group! :D
I am praying for all these intentions right now @snowbunny ...in Jesus name 🙏
Please pray for safety of all people there. Also pray for more people to get saved.
I'm going to the believers voice of victory meetings and there are some mighty breakthroughs going on with that.
😂👍❤️🙏 God Bless you all. I’m here in Portland, Or. - so grateful to know that so many here are storing up God’s Word & increasing Faith. There is revival happening! You all don’t forget to pray for me now 😉
Thanks Clanceman! I was worried you only cared for the Juniors! *faints with relief* no jk. Seriously tho that's awesome
I am praying for the Bible Bee Seniors and Primaries along with the Juniors at this very moment. Father God, may all of those in these groups lift up your name and change the world while storing up your Word so that you may be glorified, in Jesus name. Amen.
@Clanceman: Thank you for praying! Prayers for the Bible Bee Seniors and Primaries as well would be greatly appreciated 😊
just letting all the Bible Bee Juniors know that as I spend hours and hours on this app...the greatest addiction anyone could have :) ...it is blessing me so much and I continue to pray for you all! If anyone is wondering what my avatar is...it is “Roxx Regime” which was the first rock band name of what would eventually become the most famous and enduring of Christian rock bands, “Stryper” their name and logo comes from Isaiah 53:5 “By His Stripes We Are Healed,” I encourage you to check them out if you like rock music. Incredible message since 1984 ✌️❤️🙏
please join my group that I dont have 😣 (Idk how to make a group 😁)
Also, the Early Release passages will be added as soon as possible :)
Hello everyone! I just added Psalms 146-150 to the groups verses. Psalm 27 and 84 have already been added, and hopefully I’ll get to the rest of the study passages by the end of this week. Happy Studying!
Praying for all Bible Bee juniors 🙏
Early release will be added very soon on 2019 Bible Bee Juniors! Please join!
Juniors: You can join 2019 Bible Bee Juniors with this link:
Thank you Emma. Praise God! Prayers & blessings to you all tonight! I made it to level 35. I’m blessed by this app and this group.
@Clanceman: You are definitely welcome! God Bless you, too!
Thank you both for responding. I love the app. Along with Olive Tree Bible, my two favorites. Thank you, I pray that you all are Blessed as you memorize. Ha, well I’m 54 yrs old, so prob not young enough. But I’m young still in the Lord. God Bless you all!
@Clanceman, I didn't make this group either, but you're definitely welcome here in my book! Enjoy memorizing!
although I can't say that without telling you that the BB is super awesome and you should do it some year if you're young enough and you won't regret it but that's just my two cents!
hi Clanceman! I didn't make this group but I'm guessing it's totally cool that you joined! thanks for the encouragement 😜👍🏻
Wow, I bit off more than I could chew trying to memorize Ephesians 1: 1-5 right off the bat! 😂....you all are far more advanced than I.
Hi, I’ve had my account Pro account for around 70 days now. I joined this group, simply because it seems like one of the few that has an active message wall. I’m not interested in going to the “Bible Bee,” but I would like to fellowship here, and pray for folks involved in the 🐝...also, I went to group verses page and would like to memorize Ephesians. I selected Ephesians 1 from that page. I already had 227 active verses with 90 mastered elsewhere here. So, is it ok that I joined? Thank you! 🙏
@BLG: Thank you for sharing! They’ll definitely be a big help!
@Scripture Blondie, Ikr? @BLG, thanks for sharing!
Is there an Official National Bible Bee 2019 group yet?
@Grace: Thank you again! Happy Studying ;-)
Emma ikr? so much happened since then!
@Emma, no problem! I went ahead and added both of them, as well as the Senior CRs
@Scripture Blondie: Hey Lydia! Yep, 2016 :) Seems so long ago :0
hey Emma I know you! (Lydia here. we were in semi finals together I think:) 2016?)
@Grace: Thank you so much! That will be really helpful. Definitely easier than me fishing around to find the passages :) I made you an admin, so you are free to add them. If you like you can also add the Senior CRs. Thanks again!
@Emma, no problem! I do have those collections already if you want me to add them and are willing to make me a temporary admin (I can add the Senior CR list as well), but that's up to you :)
Hello! Sorry for the delay, but I will hopefully get the Senior and Primary SS verses on here this weekend. Happy Studying!
@Emmalisa, I hope I do too :) @Philip, Hello!
Hello everyone,
Who thinks they'll make it to nationals this year? I hope I do, I did last time.
@Emma, Thank you! I too am very excited about this year's study :)
Hello everyone! I’m so excited for this year! I added the Junior memory passages, and soon the Primary and Senior ones will be here, too. I hope to add the chapters of Psalms for the study passages, also. Thank y’all for joining!
hello! Ya'll read as BB is starting?? It's so cool that Nat's is in Kentucky this year! Just a ways farther for me XD
Can we add the memory verse on???
Hi you should all join truth or dare I am very active in it everyday I post at least one truth and one dare. You can also post truths and dares.
hi I joined is it to late
Welcome y’all! Thanks for joining 😁
Welcome to the group, @Elise Rambally!
Hello everyone! Since Bible Bee is over until next June, what are y’all plans for off-season(the time between after Nats and before next BB season)? One of the things I’m doing is memorizing Galatians, so I just put Galatians in the groups verses. Y’all are welcome to memorize with me! I hope everyone has a great weekend! ~Emma
That’s great! I’m sure you’ll do great! Something that helps me before taking the CBT is praying right before I click start. It gives me peace and calms me down, and it gives me confidence knowing that God is watching every move we make, guiding us in the right path.
Great as far as I can tell! This is my first year so I am really having to guess and figure it out as I go! I am thankful that I have had an optunity to take a timed test at our local College before taking the CBT. It is a whole different environment from taking a test at home!
3 days till Nats!! How’s everyone’s studying going?
Thanks for the reminder, Elizabeth! I needed that :). No matter what we need to give glory to God for what he has done through it. Press on everyone!
Reminder for us all this upcoming week: To honor God though our testimony if that means making it to semi-finals or finals or not getting farther that prelims. Who is glad that winning is not them main goal? I am!
Thanks. Yes I was blessed! Making it to Nationals was not even my goal!
And @Elizabeth, congratulations on making it your first year, that is an amazing accomplishment!
That was a bit longer than expected xP
@Elizabeth: Ok! I’m a Junior. Memorizing Philippians (or at least knowing it super well) is a good idea :). If you have time, I would find cross-references to the themes in Philippians that are relevant. Using a study Bible or a Bible commentary to find themes, study notes, cross-references, and background information can be very effective. I wouldn’t stress on learning every single Greek word in Philippians, but I would focus on the Greek for important words, and especially reoccurring words throughout the section or book (for example, the Greek word for "imprisonment," which is an important theme used several times, would be a great one to know). Also, make sure you know the background of Philippians. But this is all just my opinion, and there are many ways to study. I just picked out the most important things concerning Philippians that I could think of :). I hope this helped a little!
Yes I am a senior, What are you guys going to do as far as studying Philippians? What is important? This is my first year.Thanks.
@Elizabeth: You are a Senior, right? :)
Congratulations on finishing, Elizabeth! Great job! I’m a bit behind, so I’m not done yet. My goal is to be done before mid-November, and I’ve been working a lot on perfecting them lately.
I just finished memorizing! How is everyone else doing?
Welcome, Lorraine Dixon and Emmalisa E.!
Hi everyone!! Please join the "Prayer Requests" group where we will be displaying prayer requests on the Message Wall. Please join, add your prayer requests, and pray for others(!!) ...see you in the group 😀
could you guys join group JesuSaves and dogs for Jesus? Group JesuSaves is known for Bible trivias. So if you like those you should join! It is a group for God. And both groups are clean of bad words. Group Dogs for Jesus is known for bravery and kindness. The group has been deleted by someone mean, but it just made another one. My brother was so sad because that was his group, and it had about 2,000 group verses current. So if you could join Dogs for Jesus we could make the group great again. If you say "Hi, I joined." then I will almost guarantee you will be welcomed. So If you are looking for a kind, welcoming, active group please join either one. PWEEZE😇 I want to make my brother happy.
The same mistake is also found in Philippians 1:12-18 in the Junior collection, so I fixed that, also.
@Elizabeth: It should be fixed now! Let me know if you notice anything else :)
Philippians 1:12-24 runs from one section to the other and the header of the new section is in the middle of the passage. Can this be fixed? Thanks.
Wow! Great job on your verses, @Morgan and @Bethany!! I’d better get to some reviewing xP
since I didn’t qualify for the Nationals, I’m going to leave this group until next bible bee season. Bye
Welcome to the group, Rose C. and Elizabeth! Glad you could join us!
I split the passages that covered more than one chapter (e.g Galatians 3:26-4:7 is imported as Galatians 3:26-29 and Galatians 4:1-7)
I added the Junior Remaining Passages! I’ll add the Senior ones once they are on the Official group :)
hey everyone please join my group called the puppy lovers. thanks
@Philip: I will try to add them as soon as possible ;)
When will the rest of the verses be put on?
Welcome Kaitlyn and Emorales!
We find out this evening who passes! But remember that even if you didn't get in you did amazing. And having all that scripture in your heart and learning so much from the book of James is reward enough! :)
The new study book is Philippians! I added it to the group’s verses :)
I finished the summer memory passages today.
Hey Noah, did you do Bible Bee last year?
Welcome to the group, Kelly! @Phillip: My studying is going O.K. :)
Welcome, @Desi and Mysterious!
@Noah; Ok, I'll look! Thanks alot! @Phillip; hi there!
@Nora W: They should be on BibleBee.org under Summer Study Memory Cards.
There are memorizing cards? Could anyone please tell me where they are? This is my first year so I'm afraid I'm quite clueless! :)
Hey Noah!! I'm excited, too! It should be on the Bible Bee dashboard under Summer Study Memory Cards ;)
Hey all! Who is excited about memorizing James?[I know I am] Does anyone have a link on where to print the verses? I have not found mine yet.
@Ivana: I'll try to add the memory passages as soon as I can ;)
@Grace: You're welcome :) @Grace White: That's wonderful! Feel free to ask questions! @Nora: Good job! Memorizing James is a great goal!
Same with me! I'm so excited to be doing it though! Has anyone started on the thrive workbook yet? And memorizing? I have James 1:1-9 memorized and Mathew 5:3-9! I want to memorize the whole book of James though! It'll be hard but good I think! :)
Thank you, Emma! I'm so glad to join; I would like to gather any helpful information I can, as this is my first year participating!
the memory passages are out...
Welcome Trinity and Grace White! Thanks for joining! :)
@Audrey: You're welcome ;) @Grace: Welcome to the group! Glad to have you here!
@Emma, though their not so reviewed now :P @Phillip, this will also be my eighth year and my last as a Junior.
I'm here! Sorry I had a busy weekend :)
This will be my eighth year and my last Junior year my birthday is in late December so I will be one of the very oldest Juniors.
This will be my seventh year doing it :) I started when I was seven years old. How long have you been doing it, @Phillip?
How long have y'all been doing Bible Bee?
Please join my group named The cross of Jesus.
Welcome, A Fellow Disciple!
Great job on reviewing your verses, @Morgan!
I am turning 15 in December so this is my last Junior year. This is also my eighth year in Bible Bee!
Please join God Gives Good Gifts it has 289 verses right now, thanks.
@Nora: Oh, ok! This year I'll be turning thirteen, so I'm in the junior division :) @Elizabeth 😋: Welcome to the group!
If you go to the main page of scripture typer there should be a video that shows you all about it! I'm so glad you joined Elizabeth and I hope you like it and use it often! :) Feel free to ask me ANY questions!
@ Emma; I'm 14 but I'll be 15 in October so I'll be in the Senior (eeks!) division. Just FYI the longer you wait the more you have to pay for the adventure journal. @Elizabeth; Hi there! I'm so glad you joined! So this site, as you must no, :) is for memorizing God's word. The groups you can join and memorize from the theme of the group and the verses they put out there and you can join in discussion!
Hi, I am new here so I don't know what to do. Can anyone tell me what to do?
I haven't, yet ;) What age division will you be in, @Nora?
everyone signed up for the sumemr study yet?
Hello, Nora! Welcome! I'm pretty excited, and I hope you'll enjoy your first year! :)
Hi all! Who's excited to do the Bible Bee this year!! I am and this is my first year!!!!
...and, goodbye, Sandy! :'-(
Welcome to the group, Ivana and Sandy!!
Great job, Morgan! You reviewed quite a bit! xD
...and....Goodbye, Chelsea H... xP
Well, I have reviewed only like a hundred verses since nationals.....
@Morgan: I know the feeling... :-/
My verses are dropping like crazy :O
Happy New Year, everyone! Hi Elizabeth! I'm sorry your verses weren't showing :( @Hope: Happy late Birthday! One of my favourite passages was 1 Chronicles 16:23-34, because it was about how creation responds to God, and worshipping Him. What was your favourite passage?
It seems like not all of my verses are showing on here... xP
@Hope, tough question. I really don't know. @Elizabeth, your joining a lot of groups!
I am doing well :D
My birthday was yesterday so that was really fun
What are some of y'all s favorite passages from this years Nationals?
@Hope, Hello! I'm doing well. How are you?
@Emma, good idea! @Hope, well.
Hi All! Hows everyone doing?
That's a good plan, Morgan! I also plan on keeping all of this years verses and Colossians memorised :)
@Emma, I just hope to get my verses current and possibly memorize last year's verses that I did not memorize. I don't have much time though......
@Morgan: Do you have any plans for Bible Bee "Off-season?" I'm planning to get at least 50 verses current a day on ST. And I've picked a few random (ish) chapters of the Bible to memorise. :)
@JesusNameWitness, Ok. That's fine.
Umm, @Morgan I actually downloaded this app because a brother of mine recommended it for the recording. Navigating is how I found these groups. Thank you Jesus
Your Welcome :P Did you make it to Nationals? What division are you in?
Glory be to God giving thanks to Jesus Christ; thank you for welcoming me sister@Emma & @Morgan. In Jesus name
Welcome Jesus Name Witness!!!
Welcome JesusNameWitness! @Rhett: JesusNameWitness is just sharing some stuff from our memory passages. By the way I joined your group :)
Proverbs 4:
[7] Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and in all thy getting get understanding.
seeing if anyone else is getting the same understanding & not just reading blindly.
Luke 24:
[30] And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and break, and gave to them.
[31] And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
Glory be to God the Father giving thanks through our Lord Jesus Christ. Looking forward to meeting new souls, shedding some light to the world; all in the name of Jesus.
Matthew 4:
[16] The people which sat in darkness saw a great light; and to them which sat in the region and the shadow of death light is sprung up.
John 8:
[12]Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
